As a siding contractor Burnaby homeowners trust, we work on plenty of mid-century bungalows and family homes where original windows have long since had their day.

What Burnaby homes ask of an exterior
Much of Burnaby was built up in the postwar decades, so many houses still have the windows and cladding they were built with. Upgrading them is one of the biggest comfort and energy improvements available to owners here.
Mid-century houses
Single-pane and early double-pane windows are common. Modern replacements can noticeably cut drafts and street noise.
Busy streets
Homes near arterials benefit from better glazing that helps reduce sound coming in.
Older wall assemblies
We open up trim and check what is underneath before choosing new cladding.
